HTC Cavalier is a 3G version of HTC Excalibur, i.e. similar external construction (including QWERTY keyboard) but equipped with more powerful components inside. The looks of HTC Cavalier have also been improved, streamlined:
... but lack of the wheel means that Samsung BlackJack and Samsung i600 still are the better choice for end users...Some highlights about HTC Cavalier:

- processor 400 MHz from Samsung
- full 3G support: UMTS and HSDPA
- JOGGR control pad - a control similar to touch pad in notebooks - not bad idea but still very inferior to genuine wheel
- 2 megapixel camera
- GSM quad band with GPRS and EDGE
- Wi-Fi 802.11b and 802.11g
- Bluetooth 2.0
- display of resolution 320x240 pixels
