PalmOne 次は6GBのLifeDrive？:Brighthand

Just a month after palmOne launched the LifeDrive, its first handheld with a built-in hard drive, word has already leaked out that the company is planning one with a higher capacity.
The Spanish branch of Hitachi, the maker of the 4 GB microdrive in the LifeDrive, put out a press release today touting its 6 GB version.

BrighthandによるとスペインのHitachiがPalmOneに6GBのMicroDriveを供給すると発表したようです!!
記事には比較的早い時期(秋頃)に新しいLifeDriveが登場するのではないかと書かれています。
一方、日立は今年の2月に20％省電力な次世代の8GB〜10GBのMicroDriveを生産すると話していますので、今後が楽しみです！
MP3 Playerは勿論、PDAや携帯電話にもHDDが搭載される機種が増えそうな予感(^^ゞ
