Motorola MPxが生産中止？(英語)：DigiTimes

Motorola plans to cancel the launch of its MPx230 Microsoft Windows-based smartphone, manufactured by Chi Mei Communication Systems (CMCS), according to sources at Taiwan handset makers. The vendor also intends to discontinue orders of the MPx200 and MPx220 models with CMCS and the MPx with Compal Electronics, indicated the sources.

DigiTimesの記事によると、Motorola MPx200とSmartPhone EditionのMPx220の生産を中止し、後継機のMPx230の注文をキャンセルしたそうです。
なんでもWiFiの認証を所得せずに販売していて、それを中国政府が禁止したのを受けて、WiFiを取り除く面倒なら作らない方がいいということらしいですけど。
ODMメーカーも認証くらいちゃんと取ろうよ〜〜(^^ゞ
いや、昼間、eXpansysでMPx見てて気になっていたら(11万なんで買えませんが・・・)こんな記事が出たので取り上げてみました(^^ゞ

Motorola MPx200とMPx220はSmartPhoneEditionだったので文章を修正<(__)>　で、MPx230ってのはMPx220の後継機のことなのか、MPx SmartPhone(クライムシェルで縦・横に開きキーボードを内蔵しているPocketPC Phone Edition搭載)のことだか不明です。
でもWiFi積んでいるのってMPx SmartPhoneしかないような〜〜？(謎)
