Don't you just love these white boxes that the protos come in? The HTC Elf guys ? it's really hot! As usual, leave it up to HTC to try and push the Windows Mobile bar a little further. When I first put my SIM card into the phone and booted up, a little on screen pop-up showed asking me if I'd like to automatically configure network settings.
