HTC WizardのWiFi 802.11gは封印されていたらしい：msmobiles.com

HTC Wizard has been sold by i-mate as i-mate JAM - with 802.11g activated - but mobile operators like T-Mobile, Orange, etc were selling it as T-Mobile MDA Vario, Orange SPV M2000, etc but with fast Wi-Fi deactivated - i.e. having only 802.11b - the regular speed Wi-Fi.
Now also owners of other HTC Wizard phones can enjoy 802.11g - with a simple hack:

レジストリの値を変えるか、下記のページからパッチをダウンロードして実行すると802.11gにフルで接続できるようです。
