At 3GSM World Congress 2005 our reporter spotted at stand of Samsung a prototype of Microsoft Smartphone designed for QVGA display. Here are the photos

msmobiles.comの3GSM World Congress 2005レポートにSmartphone EditionのQVGA液晶の評価ボードの記事が載っています。
従来、Smartphoneは176x220ピクセルだったのですが、このSamsungの評価ボードでは240x320のQVGAにと高解像度化され、従来のPocketPCや日本で一般的に売られている携帯電話と同じ解像度になっています。
このほかに記事中ではHTCもQVGAを準備をしているそうですが、こういった変更があれば今後、PocketPC用のアプリが動いたりとか色々と期待が持てたりしますね？
(日本でSmartphone自体が出るかは期待薄ですけど・・頑張って欲しいものです。)
